Between Covid and Bye weeks, the best Süper Lig fantasy out there is a true challenge for virtual managers. Here are some short-term options to make it easier on you.
Below you’ll find the crème de la crème of this week’s fantasy studs, provided to you by the masterminds behind Fantezi Futbol Türkiye.
Muhammet Demir (Gaziantep FK, Forward)
Muhammet Demir is one of the headliners of Gaziantep FK’s unbeaten serie for 8 games in a row with his 3 goals and 2 assists of contribution this season. The successful striker played average of 60 minutes per game in last 4 games and had 2 goals & 1 assist statistics. This week Gaziantep FK is playing against Yeni Malatyaspor at home and considering the away performance of their opponent and their missing players, Muhammet Demir might be considered as one of the top picks for GW10.
Key Stats: (per game) Shots: 1.0 / Key Passes: 0.6
Abdülkadir Ömür (Trabzonspor, Midfielder)
Messi look-alike player Abdülkadir Ömür is also being compared to Messi with his style of playing football. He seems ready after his several injuries and unluckinesses that he experienced before Ankaragücü game. New coach Abdullah Avcı is expecting more from him and designing a new tactical structure on him. He is also one of the prior options for set pieces except of penalty kicks. In total 9 appearances in Süper Lig, he scored 1 goal and made 2 assists. We are expecting him to be the leader against Ankaragücü, who are struggling to close their goal to opponents’ forwards, for a possible win this week.
Key Stats: (per game) Crosses: 0.9 / Shots: 1.3 / Key Passes: 1.6
Jure Balkovec (Fatih Karagümrük, Defender)
Fatih Karagümrük’s successful central defenders Zukanovic and Roco made significant contributions to their teams with additional attacking statistics (2 goals & 1 assist each). But somehow they didin’t play in last game of Fatih Karagümrük and it gave the impression that they were Covid-19 positive. If this is the fact, we don’t expect them to play also in GW10. Although their possible absence, Fatih Karagümrük and their defenders are again the candidates for “clean sheet” against Kayserispor who have important missing players. Considering that he takes the ball in corner kicks and free-kicks, Balkovec will be our prior pick for this week from Fatih Karagümrük.
Key Stats: (per game) Crosses: 0.7 / Shots: 0.7 / Key Passes: 0.7
Ramazan Köse (Kasımpaşa, Goal Keeper)
In the previous season, Ramazan Köse got the gloves from his team mates for the final 14 games and he earned 65% of the total points for these games. He was also one of the 4 goalkeepers who made an assist in last season. Although he has not been performing that well, he made 22 saves in 9 games. They are playing against Gençlerbirliği who are one of the least scoring 3 teams so far this season. Considering that the most important forward player Stancu is still injured, Ramazan is one of best options for goalkeeper position this week.
Kaan Kanak (Erzurumspor, Defender)
Erzurumspor defenders have not performing well this season in terms of “clean sheet” points. Kaan Kanak has 1 more clean sheet (2) than his team-mates since he was substituted in Sivasspor games before Sivasspor goals. He had some injury problems this season but he played in last Trabzonspor game and he was the primary option for the set-pieces. Erzurumspor’s opponent Antalyaspor has 9 missing players this week which is a clear advantage for Erzurumspor. Kaan Kanak is a favourable pick in terms of both his assist and clean sheet potential this week.
Key Stats: (per game) Crosses: 0.6 / Shots: 0.8 / Key passes: 0.6
Recommended Teams for Player Picks
Trabzonspor made a fresh start with Abdullah Avcı last week. They won the game against Erzurumspor who are one of the best attacking teams in Süper Lig. Trabzonspor have a very suitable fixture ahead starting with Ankargücü game and continues with Sivasspor, Kayserispor, Rizespor and Hatayspor. Nwakaeme, Abdülkadir Ömür, Ekuban, Pereira are possible players to be considered for this game and for the upcoming 5 weeks.
Başakşehir wil play against Denizlispor, Malatyaspor and Gaziantep FK respectively for the upcoming three weeks. They are considered to be closer side to win these 3 games in a row. Edin Visca, Nacer Chadli, Demba BA, Rafael, Mert Günok and İrfan Can Kahveci are all players to be picked for this week’s and next 3 weeks’ games.
